Farewell The Fairway is a single-player game set in a post-apocalyptic world where civilization has fallen into ruin. Players take control of a robot, exploring exotic and decaying environments through the mechanics of golf. Each course becomes a journey across abandoned landscapes, blending exploration with precision-based gameplay.
Design Process
From the beginning, our goal was to create a golf experience set in a post-apocalyptic world where the player feels the remnant of human era. We prioritized environmental design to convey this atmosphere, while carefully balancing the golf mechanics to ensure the gameplay remains engaging rather than repetitive.
