Paramnesia is the project that put all of our accumulated skills throughout the years to the limit. This project started with the simple idea of combining 2 different genre together, being horror and platformer. 

At first the horror aspect is only shown through the dark environment and a simple jumpscare but we thought that's too basic and the game should have a proper story and theme. Our writer took inspiration from multiple mediums but the most important one is taken from Aesop's Fable called The Honest Woodcutter, where our writer put a twist on the core concept of the story to create a twisting scenario in the game. 

Our game style will primarily be in Pitch Black with the objects having thick White Outline. Our director came up with this idea of using White outline on every objects so that they will seemingly blend together due to the lack of proper artist within our group, this save us a lot of time as we don't need to find matching texture between all the objects and there's no need to place down light, saving us a lot of time.
